Traditional Chocolate Mousse

Chocolate Mouse is one of those mouth watering desserts that has you wanting more when you have finished your bowl or even when your tummy is full. This is a much loved recipe which has been passed on through my family. Hopefully it will be loved and enjoyed by your family just as much. Just try stopping at one bite!

Ingredients

3 eggs
250gm dark chocolate
1 tspn vanilla essence
2 tspns sugar
Small bottle thickened cream

Method

Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Beat egg whites until stiff

Melt chocolate in pot on stove top or in the microwave oven.

Add egg yolks, vanilla essence and sugar together and mix in with melted chocolate.

Mix egg whites into chocolate mixture and then stir in cream.

Pour into serving bowl or small bowls as desired and place in fridge to chill.
